To systematically document different colour-structure interactions, Plied Colour Lexemes were created, building an ever-growing lexicon.

Each Lexeme was created with a combination of colour transition in mind. These colour transitions often result in a change in visual resolution, scattering a single colour and optically mixing it with another. While certain pairs of colours optically mix more harmoniously, others render a visual noise of competeing hues.
