Play on Tension, (2021) is a project commissioned by Pico Art, and a collaboration with music composer Tze Toh. The series of short videos with accompanying music present micro movements in intertwining threads when the tension in them is released.

It is natural to think of stitches as the threads that hold fabrics together, but the fabric is just as much an important element that holds the stitches in place. When the fabric disappears, stitches lose the tension that holds them in place; they come apart too.
