The Fitness Bench has a familiar visual language, similar to that of the structures in fitness corners, which are an essential element in many Singapore parks. Its ambiguous form allows us to interact with it in multiple ways. Disguised as a park bench, the Fitness Bench is in fact a pair sit-up benches.

This was a contribution to the "30 LifeStories" project initiated by Singapore Furniture Industries Council. Special thanks to Cheng Meng Furniture Group for fabricating the bench.
